Acton's Beachside Caravan and Camping Eco-Park

About us

Our eco-park is located on a small peninsula at the estuary of Streamstown Bay, on a beautiful, white sandy Atlantic private beach, opposite Omey Island near Claddaghduff Village, Clifden, Connemara. Unique to the  park is its uncommercialized private  space additionally the site boosts a unique ecosystem called 'machair'. This is a highly specialised & complex sand dune habitat that, in the entire world only occurs  along certain parts of the west coast of Ireland & Scotland. Our Park is a low density eco-campsite on a 'certified organic farm' with beautiful, private, panoramic, Atlantic seascape views.  The campsite has all the attractions of 'wild camping' combined with the safety and comforts of a modern caravan & camping park. There are harbour facilities for boats & great fishing points  by the stream. The parks electricity is generated from wind power. We also have an approved supply of fresh organic potable mineral water, which is extracted from the parks sand bearing soil.
